Hey everyone! Sorry its been so long since tour and i haven't posted in a while. I promise to get on it more. Well Benj and myself just got back from a trip to Central African Republic, which is a small country in the middle of Africa. I will bring you more pictures and stories from that trip soon. For now check out the video i posted at the bottom of this blog, from the Less than Zero campaign. Hope your all well. We are hard at work in the studio writing a record for you. Sounding really good so far. I know i said in an mtv interview our stuff was sounding like Blink. I wasn't trying to compare us to Blink or suggest we were trying to fill their shoes, As a Blink fan i was just drawing comparisons to the sound of their last album which is one of my favorite records still. As a fan of Blink and Greenday, i've been missing that music lately. Its really too early to tell but this record is really beggining to sound like a great pop punk record. Who knows though. Benji could go M.I.A. and come back from some enlightening trip and we could end up making some new age sitar record. HA! you never know with GC. I don't think we've made any two records that have sounded alike. Either way we always hope our fans understand we are just having fun and making music. The Greatest Remixes is out in a few days i hope you all enjoy it! It was really fun hearing everyone else remix the old songs. We hope you enjoy with an open mind, there is definitely a song on there for everyone to shake it too, no matter what kind of music your into. Anyways more to come from our trip to AFRICA with UNICEF. Congrats to my buddy Pete Wentz on his new baby boy!!

And add me when u get a chance 2 ok?
There is nothing wrong with sounding similar to Blink 182 or Green day as I love them both and I'm sure even if your intent was to sound the same you couldn't do it :P I'm excited about the new album!
I believe in Zero!!

Hey Joel, thanks for the blog, Blinks last record was amazing, it's one of my favorites as well. To be honest i grew up listening to blink 182 but I've always loved your work and loved your songwriting skills.
