Vegas, L.A. Tru and Tattoos......

Hey everybody, Hope you guys are all doing great. I have been promising you a Vegas Blog for a few days so here it is...I have been really busy the last few days, so it took me a a minute but i hope you guys enjoy this one:) I had a great weekend in Vegas with my girlfriend. She shot her show all weekend their and I just tagged along to support. While she worked i gambled and hung out. I actually didn't lose money this time. Can't complain about that!! We had a really nice time. We even got to go on a Private Jet, sorry but that kind of stuff amazes me still. So you guys know i had to take a pic for the GC blog!!

you know i had to beat billy's cute duck blog so i figured puppies. puppies always do the trick. We really got to hang out and have a good time for the weekend. A nice break from the time i have been spending in the studio writing.....we got to see Pharrel's band N.E.R.D. they are really good guys...

We also got to go out with Paris sister Nicky and her boyfriend David who has become a good friend of mine....

I think i might be annoying everyone now cause where ever we go I'm like "wait i gotta get a pic for the GC blog" They always humor me though. Nice friends....here's an Elevator pic...Paris always looks so Pretty when she is going to work:)

....we also spent some time with my good friend Carey Hart. I actually have some pretty cool stuff to tell you. Joel and I are partners with Carey opening a new club at the Hard Rock in Vegas. "Wasted Space" is the name and it is going to basically be the coolest place in Vegas to hang. It will officially be open July 19th. So if you are in Vegas come check it out. I will give you more info in future blogs... The 3 Amigos....

when i got back to L.A. it was back to writing more songs and some meetings about some business stuff. But i had to take time out to go see my buddy Grant Cobb. My favorite tattoo artist of the moment, he is doing a guest spot this week at legendary Bob robert's Spotlight tattoo on Melrose....perfectly located for me Near the DCMA store...

if you are in L.A. and need a tattoo, this is a great shop and every artist there is really solid. Nice guys too, not the usually stuck up tattoo shop vibe...good people...Grant spent 8 hours finishing my Benjamin Franklin back piece that he started a while ago.....here it is....drum roll please.....

Grant is the man....Today i got to hang down at the DCMA store(melrose&martel) and talk to the fellas for a little while, Tru just got to town cause he is blowin up right now so he had to come out from St.louis for some meetings. You guys might remember him from my earlier blog. His song"Mr.Miyagi"
is huge in the midwest right now and he is about to go nation wide...so he has some meetings.
I am really happy for him, he deserves it. You guys would love Tru if you got to hang with him....remember this video? gonna be huge i am telling you!!

tonight we had to talk some business at the house for a while...Tal made an appearance as did the Elusive Mike Greene

We also had a special guest, the president of our label Epic records is in town and came by to say hi...charlie Walk...the man behind the music...he is a cool guy to hang with and talk music and ideas...good times Charlie...good times...this is the guy you want to get your demo to kids...

SO there you have the last few days pretty much. Glad to be back home and working on music and had a great time while I was away. The band is great and really excited getting ready for this summer tour. I hope we get to meet all you guys out there while we are on the road. I have some other cool things coming up this week that I will definitely get pics of and put on the Blog. Never boring around here.
