loved the show, it was epic. wish more people got really into it though :( who else went?

I wish I could have gone but I live on the East coast (Vermont and it sucks) I also heard there wasn't much of a crowd. So that was true??? I just don't understand why more people aren't fans of GC. So, it was pretty awesome. Did Joel say anything about Sparrow?? I'm so happy for him and Nicole. I can't wait for GC to play New England and Quebec again. Those are the shows I'll be at. I saw them in Montreal, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Jersey last year.

Permalink Reply by 1valentine on September 13, 2009 at 12:27pm: The crowd attendance was somewhat okay however the problem I had with the crowd was their lack of enthusiasm. I mean when I'm at a concert I go "balls out" so to speak and I just let loose but like most people were sitting down!!! I think it's just LA people are not so hardcore about GC as East Coast fans.
And Joel did mention Sparrow :) He basicly said how he just had a baby and he seemed so happy and I'm glad that he was :)! Oh and Nicole was there too w/ Sparrow!!! It was pretty cool.
This was my second concert of their's. I saw them at Universal City on Oct 30th 2004.
And Joel said that they are working on Cardiology in the studio and hope to have it out sometime next year which I'm thinking will be like in March.; ▶ Reply to This

I go crazy at shows too, especially GC shows. I'm usually hoarse after attending one. I was pissed during the tour last year because there were so many Boys like Girls fans in the crowds who didn't show enough appreciation for GC. So, I made sure I went extra ape shit!!! This is actually the 1st time ive seen them play even though ive met them before. The played really good and what i have to say about the crowd was that there wasnt many people i think because not a lot of people know about it and theres more older people. My parents also went with me and actually enjoyed the show even though they dont like this type of music!! LoL I wanted Benji to ride the ferris wheel with meee!!! hahahah; ▶ Reply to This
