Good Charlotte

From there first album to there album Good Morning Revival, what do you think made them want the change? Famousnes? Did they want to change?
Or did they just start Getting it up with Celebs? or do you just think they grew up from there past and old immature aditude (which was much cooler). Haha. I love the first album! :)

haha, starting this Discussion was my idea, I was next to Johnson No-Friends.

I think that I like the old GC more, but each GC album has something special to it. Problem is, each album is getting more pop and less feeling to it, EVERY ALBUM!

they have changed & grown with every album and they write about whats in there life so they cant really write about being in high school & stuff like that anymore and they cant write about wishing to be famous, they wont do anything like the chronicles again cos they are happy now and i think u can see that on GMR :)

I think the 'lets get on the world' attitude was much cooler..I mean...compare Benji from the first album with Benji now...whoa! Think they just made a compromise at a certain point...shouldnt have done that tho...shouldve stuck to who they were..But thats just my humble opinion :)

but like you said,"that is who they WERE." They aren't the same people.

Of course, they could make every album and every song sound exactly the same.. oh wait, that's AC/DC. LOL

As for Good Morning Revival, I know the critics really tore it apart but I think it is a wonderful album.

You obviously don't get my point. By sticking to who they were I meant carrying on in the same style of music...not making everything exactly the same...They turned from punkrock to pop... ppl who became fans when they heard their first two albums...wouldnt become fans when hearing GMR...thats my point..They went a bit too commercial for my taste...but like I always say, thats purely my opinion...and you're wrong bout AC/DC tho...obviously you never listen to them;)

You are wrong by the AC/DC bit. First AC/DC was metal.

And, you are right, but it doesn't very, it just goes more poppy.
