Is it just me... or does it seem like US hates GC?

There are like 0 GC fans in my area... and it just seems like Good Charlotte is more popular in every other country in the world...just not US... :(

I live in Spain and I'm spanish and NONE of my friends love good charlotte as i do.
I think i'm the only one at my school that LOVES Good charlotte.
People like them, but not love themtogetanaccountontheirwebsiteandfollowthemallthetimeonlineANDJUSTbeobsessedwiththem.
xD
Here in Spain they're not that famous...not coMmercial at all. the only thing is they used their song "keep your hands of my girl" as a Vodafone commercial. xD
But I don't think US hates them, I mean, I don't know, but some trends start and others finish and the real gc fans are still with them.

sorry if i messed up with my english, i dont practice as much as before.

well let's think for a moment. The US can't possibly hate GC if they still manage to get into the tabloids. People clearly want to read about them, whatever their motivation for doing so

i know what you mean. in elementary school there was like so many kids that loved them, now that i'm almost out of high school there doesnt seem to be as many cool kids who like good music.

After seeing all the TV and radio time they get in Australia, no wonder Benji and Joel love that country so much. It is sad to think an American group gets more support from another country than they do from their own country.

Then there is David Hasselhoff and Germany but that is a whole nother story!!!

The weird part about that though, is that no one I know here in Aus is really that into them either! And obviously they would get more air time here when they're on a trip and only going to be here a couple of weeks. Australia is probably the same as the US- more celebrity obsessed than lovers of Good Charlotte in particular.

Then again, Australians were (from what I've heard) the first people to really get on board the GC bandwagon- lots of us apparently bought the first album while others didn't really catch on til the second. And a lot of those who bought the first album, even if they aren't big fans of GC any more, would be excited to see them on TV or whatever while they're visiting.

I'll tell you who Australia is really obsessed with. P!nk. No one can seem to get enough of her!!

I heard that too, Australia was the first country to really get into Good Charlotte.

Other than myself, I don't know any other GC fans in Vermont (USA) except for Bessie, who is on this site. That is why I love being on here and going to their shows. I get to meet other fans.

Pink is awesome too by the way.

well, punk-pop isn't as popular as it was. but meanwhile GC actually changed. i feel that they're not as punk as they were. maybe it's called maturity, but i don't appreciate this kinda maturity.anyway, hmm, it's okay.lol
